Washington: US makes clear that it will not supply long-range rockets to Ukraine. The announcement was made by US President Joe Biden. He said Ukraine would not provide any kind of weapons that might infiltrate Russian territory and carry out attacks.
“It is true that the United States is supplying arms to Ukraine. But, it is for self defense. “We will never give Ukraine long-range rockets capable of striking inside Russia,” Biden said.
Newspapers reported that the United States was supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons, including the M270 multiple launch rocket system and the M142 high mobility artillery rocket system. It was in this context that Joe Biden responded to reporters’ questions.
