USA-Lower in household morale in January- Michigan

January 28 (Archyde.com) – The morale of American households deteriorated more than expected in January, the final results of the monthly survey by the University of Michigan showed on Friday.

Its confidence index fell to 67.2 following 70.6 in December, while the Archyde.com consensus was counting on a figure of 68.7. In the first estimate, the index came out at 68.8.

The component of consumers’ judgment of their current situation fell to 72.0 following 74.2 the previous month and 73.2 in the first estimate.
