USA-Sharper decline expected in household morale in May-Michigan

WASHINGTON, May 27 (Archyde.com) – US household sentiment fell more than expected in May, final results from the University of Michigan’s monthly survey showed on Friday.

Its confidence index fell to 58.4 following 65.2 in April, while economists and analysts polled by Archyde.com predicted an average decline of 59.1.

The consumer judgment component on their current situation fell to 63.3 (revised) from 69.4 the previous month and the outlook component fell to 55.2 (revised) from 62.5 the previous month. (Written by Claude Chendjou, said by kate Entringer)
