THE ANGELS – The No. 11 USC women’s soccer travels to the Grand Canyon State this weekend for matchups at Arizona State on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7 pm and at Arizona on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 1 pm.

SERIES VS ARIZONA – USC owns a 15-2-1 all-time record against Arizona. The Wildcats won the previous meeting 1-0 on Oct. 6, 2022 at McAlister Field. Prior to last season’s matchup, the Trojans had won eight straight against Arizona, outscoring the Wildcats 19-2 over that stretch. USC has never lost in Tucson, posting an all-time 8-0-1 mark on the road against Arizona.

SERIES VS ARIZONA STATE – USC owns a 13-6 all-time record against Arizona State. The Trojans won the previous meeting 2-1 on Oct. 9, 2022 at McAlister Field. The two schools have split the matchups in Tempe 5-5, but USC has won four of the last five on the road against the Sun Devils.

STALEMATE WITH COLORADO – Last time out, the Trojans and Buffaloes played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday at McAlister Field. Kayla Colbert put USC on the board just 2:40 into the match, but Colorado equalized on a penalty just seven minutes later (the first goal USC has conceded since Sept. 28). The Buffaloes were awarded another penalty in the 30th minute, but Hannah Dickinson came up with the save to keep things level.

STILL STREAKING – The Trojans are unbeaten in their last seven matches, a stretch that included USC’s second six-match winning streak in the last three seasons. The Trojans have kept clean sheets in five of the last seven, outscoring their opponents 18-2 over the unbeaten run.
