Users report issues with Apple accessories after recent iOS and iPadOS update

Apple users are complaining regarding a bug related to the working of the lightning to USB 3 camera adapter following upgrading to iOS 1 iPadOS 16.5 operating systems. According to reports, the issue was first reported in September 2021 and that it still hasn’t been fixed despite the various software updates released since then.

Apparently, the failure even occurs in the 16.6 beta version, making it difficult to use this and other official accessories from the manufacturer. This bug prevents the connection of external devices through the adapter making it less useful. The expectation is that the developer will release a 15.5.1 version to solve the problem, but this has not been confirmed.

As stated on the Apple website, the connector in question can be found for R$ 479. It serves to transfer photos and videos from your high-resolution digital camera to iPads and iPhones.

“When you plug in the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, your iPad Pro automatically opens the Photos app so you can choose the photos and videos you want to import and organize them into albums,” Apple says on the product page.
