Some users believe that Blu-Ray drive vibrations may exacerbate the PS5 Physical Edition issue.
Youtuber and console repairman TheCod3r believes that the problem is due to flaws in the design of the console. In a video earlier this year, he shows off a PS5 that hasn’t been unboxed yet and has been upright in its box for several months. The console would not start until he found and repaired the liquid metal leak.
