Utility allows you to add an old look to the macOS menu bar

If you are one of those nostalgic fans who miss one of the most classic styles in the menu bar, macOS, know that there is a way to bring them back. But don’t worry, Apple has not yet added this level of customization to its operating system. In fact, this is possible thanks to a utility called Lickable Menu Bar.

With this software, you can, with a single click, bring back the menu bar styles adopted by Apple in classic versions of the OS. There is the style Matte (similar to the OS X Mavericks menu bar), the Flat (from macOS Catalina) and the Glossy (do Mac OS X Tiger).

The app is certainly a good option, especially for those who enjoy the more visual skeuomorphist that macOS had before, with many 3D elements and reliefs that dominated its Aqua interface for a long time.

The Lickable Menu Bar is quite simple and basically presents the three styles available to choose from, some buttons (such as “Help” and “About”) and selections to enable the user to launch and show the software window when starting the computer.

Best of all, he is completely free, without even offering internal purchases. Just download, activate and enjoy. ????
