Vaccination brigades reach out to the population in remote areas of Ñeembucú

Asunción, IP Agency.- Officials from the Ministry of Health administered vaccines once morest respiratory diseases and the regular schedule to residents of Ñeembucú, reaching remote locations in the twelfth department.

On foot, on two wheels and even on horseback, crossing paths that are difficult to access, the members of the health teams manage to reach the most remote areas carrying the influenza and COVID-19 vaccines, the Ministry highlighted.

Vaccines were administered as part of the Winter 2024 Campaign and the regular scheme for boys and girls.

In addition to vaccination, people received home care consisting of blood pressure measurement, physical examination, and blood glucose control.

The teams are made up of professionals from the XII Health Region and the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI). Also in the Pilar District, USF Yataity professionals reached the homes located on 3rd. company where they provided home care for both boys, girls and the elderly.

Community service mobilizes health professionals who travel distances without road conditions being an impediment to reach the most difficult to access places to immunize residents.
