Val-d’Oise: a 13-year-old teenager attacked with a knife in front of his college in Sarcelles

A 13-year-old schoolboy was stabbed in the abdomen this Friday at the end of the afternoon in front of his establishment in Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise), according to police sources and close to the investigation, who specify that the reasons are, for the time being, still undetermined.

Conscious at the time of his care by the emergency services, he was transported to the Necker hospital (Paris) with a vital prognosis, added this source.

Two deaths in recent weeks

The teenager is a student in 4th grade. He arrived at the college shortly after the start of the school year, after being the victim of aggression in his previous establishment, according to a source close to the investigation.

The presumed perpetrator of the stabbing, identified as also being a teenager, had arrived accompanied by at least two people, according to the first elements of the investigation entrusted to the police at the Sarcelles police station. “The perpetrators fled when a sports teacher arrived at the scene of the attack, the motive of which was unknown yesterday,” said another police source. The main suspect finally surrendered to the police on Saturday morning.

In the past two weeks, two teenagers have been killed in fights between rival gangs in the 17th arrondissement of Paris and in Coignieres (Yvelines).
