A wolf was found dead on Sunday in a meadow near a forest in Termen (VS). The animal had a bullet wound, according to the Valais police.
“The animal will be transported to the veterinary hospital in Bern. The Public Ministry has opened a criminal investigation, ”says the police.
Two days earlier, a horse had been found dead in Grengiols (VS). This animal too was found with a gunshot wound.
“According to the first elements of the investigation, it would be a mistaken shooting of the animal”, specifies the police, who underline that at this stage, a link between the two facts has not been demonstrated. .
