Valentina Höll ended the mountain bike downhill World Cup season in style. The 22-year-old from Saalbach, who had already secured her second overall victory, also triumphed at the final in Mont-Sainte-Anne in Quebec on Saturday. Höll distanced second-placed German Nina Hoffmann by more than 13 seconds on the demanding course in Canada. The world champion achieved four victories in eight competitions this season.

Vice world champion Andreas Kolb came eighth in the men’s category. Local hero Jackson Goldstone from Canada took the win.
