Valve has filed a new brand for us with video game software, in the form of Neon Prime.
Two records have been listed on the United States Patent and Trademark Office for Neon Prime, filed by Valve in September. The “goods and services” section of one of these Neon Prime Records show that it can be used in “computer game software, electronic game software, video game software, computer game programs downloadable via the Internet”.
The second list also focuses on gaming, but is more varied and focuses on things like hosting gaming competitions as well as for use in education around video games.
A Resetera user by the name of “finalflame” appears to be a former Valve employee (via, VGC) and said, “I wonder if this is finally the FTL-like shipbuilding game we used to work on, or if it’s been scrapped.” »
The rebrand could be for a different game or type of product being developed at Valve, as last year Valve co-founder and CEO Gabe Newell said the company had “games in development” when from an interview with 1News.

However, Newell declined to comment on the news topic. half life et Gate games and said, “I managed not to talk about these things for a long time and I hope to continue not talking about them until they are trivial questions. In other news, Nvidia has announced that it will be “re-launching” the RTX 4080 12GB graphics card because it’s “not named correctly”. The company said having two cards with the 4080 name could be “confusing”.
