Vampire Hunter: A Highly Addictive Rogue-lite Hallway Retro-FPS

ten days ago, Vampire Hunter revealed himself in a trailer not particularly appealing. With its really very retro graphics, and its enemies appearing in a single corridor which seemed to be the only possible way, it was difficult to grasp its interest. But yesterday we found out that he was proposing a demoand especially that there was a whole bunch of weapons on the screen, a bit like a MOTHERGUNSHIP.

Intrigued, but nevertheless skeptical, we therefore tested the demo. And finally, it’s pretty cool! The Brazilian developer says he was inspired by Vampire Survivor, and we can clearly see why: even if we still have to aim, the more we advance in the single corridor, the more we go up in level, allowing us to add weapons to our hands, or to increase the power of our death machines. If, however, this is not enough to reach the end of the level, the money collected can be used to buy upgrades, such as faster reloading, more damage, or even more chances to recover. ‘gold. Despite the simplicity of the gameplay, the principle is very addictive, and promises to devour a lot of hours trying to destroy the final boss.

Vampire Hunter does not yet have a release date, but in the meantime, we strongly advise you to try the demo on Steam.
