SALZBURG. A spectacular filming took place on the ski slopes in Obertauern under the direction of the new do-it-yourself brand “VANHANS” – including a world premiere and prominent leading actors.
For the first time, two people were pulled across a ski slope by 2.5-meter drones in a special kind of race.
Two Austrian superstars, two-time Olympic champion Anna Gasser and folk rock “n” roller Andreas Gabalier, were recruited for the spectacular project.
In the clip, Gasser and Gabalier compete in a race starting from the magnificent Obertauern high mountain pasture, which reaches its finale with lots of powder power in deep snow. “It was really casual,” says Gabalier.
“This type of drone was only used for the first time three weeks ago during a Red Bull shoot. They have never been in the air together before. Accordingly, apart from the filming itself, the associated preparatory work was particularly demanding,” says Lukas Steiner-Bauer, VANHANS managing director, after the successful world premiere.
