Sean Tobin, a 20-year-old professional mixed martial arts fighter, showed the devastating effects on their lungs What caused vaping for five years?a story that he described as terrifying.
Tobin recounted that he started using an electronic cigarette when he was barely 15 years old back in 2018.
Such devices are sold as a “healthier alternative” to conventional cigarettes. However, nothing is further from reality.

In an interview with Mirror, the young man narrated his anecdote while smoking a vaper, which began with muscle pain that ended up taking him to the hospital.

“I started vaping when I was 15 and the vape never let go of my hand. It was very, very common. When I got in the truck to go to work on July 20, it felt like I was pulling a muscle in my back. The tension there was pretty bad,” he described.
HIS LUNG IN RIGHT, IN COLLAPSE
When he underwent medical tests, the results revealed that his right lung had collapsed. This forced him to be taken to another hospital for a procedure that consisted of releasing the air accumulated in that organ, in addition to his chest cavity.

However, there was no improvement and he had to undergo surgery. «The radiologist read my report and told me that I had a collapsed lung. It was really scary, because I felt that I had done it to myself. Those were years where I just didn’t treat my lungs the way they should be treated,” he recounted.
HOW DID HIS LUNG END?
The doctors had to attach his right lung to the chest wall. Thus, they sought to prevent new collapses in the future.
Likewise, Tobin shared terrifying images that the endoscope threw prior to his intervention. In it, yese elucidate dark spots, which are the result of carbon accumulation for so many years of using vaper.

Finally, he stressed that this disease took him by surprise since, he said, he always enjoyed “good health.”
