Variety Award for Nadine Labaki… Honored by the Red Sea Festival

The Red Sea International Film Festival announced that director, actress and screenwriter Nadine Labaki won the international “Variety” award, and it is scheduled to be presented during the activities of the second session of the Red Sea International Film Festival, which will be held from December 1 to 10 in the city Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Nadine made her first mark in the film industry through her movie “Carmel”, which premiered at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2007.

Nadine is famous for her films that shed light on various aspects of life in Lebanon, as she is the first Arab director to be nominated for an Oscar in the Best Foreign Film category for her movie “Capernaum”.

She will participate in a special dialogue with the audience, which will be held on Saturday, December 3, to discuss the most important stations of her artistic career.
