The body of a man, of Venezuelan nationality, was found hanged in the bathroom of a hotel in Colombia.
According to the information provided on the web portal of Diario del Sur, the incident occurred in the community of the corregimiento of Llorente, in the municipality of Tumaco.
The victim was identified as Carlos Florida, who perished after being beaten and hanged in a hotel room in this Pacific area of Nariño.
According to versions, the case would have been presented allegedly by passionate motives.
The strangled man would be a native of the Mérida state (Venezuela) and would have had a romantic relationship, apparently with a woman living in Llorente.
What is speculated is that this woman would be married.
Meanwhile, the sentimental partner of said person would have found out what happened and confronted Florida. The enraged man beat him up and then strangled him inside a hotel bathroom.
It was learned that it was the employees who found the body. Florida was hanging in the bathroom.
However, the circumstances surrounding the death of this Venezuelan remain unclear. In fact, the authorities are carrying out the corresponding investigations to determine if this would be a suicide.
One thing to take into account is that this new case has set off alarms among local authorities, since so far in 2022, there are already three people who have died by hanging inside hotels in this district of Tumaco.
