Carlos Vecchio, Venezuelan ambassador to the United States (USA) appointed by Juan Guaidó, called on Venezuelans to apply for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) before September 9 so that they can benefit until March 2024.

He stated that “if they have not applied, let those who can do so, before September 9 of this year. If they don’t, they won’t have it until 2024.” Likewise, he detailed that the beneficiaries under the existing designation of Venezuela who already resided in the United States on March 8, 2021 are eligible for TPS.
