Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan both filed for divorce. The overlapping lawsuits forced one of them to withdraw it so that the process could continue.

Sunan Kalijaga as Ferry Irawan’s attorney said that Venna Melinda would withdraw the divorce suit.

This is because Ferry’s application for divorce had already entered the South Jakarta Religious Court compared to Venna’s lawsuit.

“The agreement that will continue to be heard is the case that entered first, namely our case, Mas Ferry’s lawsuit. Meanwhile, Mbak Venna will cancel it through her attorney next week,” said Sunan Kalijaga when met after the initial hearing for Venna and Ferry’s divorce, Thursday (23/2 ).

The revocation of the divorce suit that will be carried out by Venna Melinda received a positive response from Ferry Irawan’s mother, Hariati.

In the video uploaded by Sunan to Instagram, Hariati admits that she is happy that her daughter-in-law wants to withdraw her divorce suit.

“I’m really happy, I didn’t expect it to be like that today, thank God,” Hariati said happily.

Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan were married on March 7 2022. This couple, who always show off their intimacy, shocked the public with the case of domestic violence (domestic violence) committed by Ferry to Venna in early January 2023.

Due to Ferry’s harsh treatment, Venna reported to the East Java Regional Police after being abused at a hotel in Surabaya.

Venna then filed a divorce suit against Ferry a month later at the South Jakarta Religious Court, where the lawsuit coincided with Ferry’s divorce application.
