Verit IM: capital increase from September 5 for Raiffeisen’s sustainable real estate fund

The proceeds from the issue are to be used to further expand the portfolio focused on durable real estate.

The fund management, Verit Investment Management AG, is launching the capital increase for the Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fonds (security number: 22 518 230 / ISIN: CH0225182309) on September 5, 2022 in the amount of approximately CHF 40 million. The proceeds from the issue are to be used to further expand the portfolio focused on durable real estate.

Verit Investment Management AG will carry out a capital increase of approximately CHF 40 million for the Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fonds from September 5 to 22, 2022, 12:00 CEST.

The new units are offered to current unitholders of Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fonds and, if they do not exercise their subscription right, to new investors. Each current unit is allocated one subscription right. Eight subscription rights entitle the holder to subscribe to a new unit against payment of the issue price in Swiss francs. There is no formal trading of subscription rights.

A maximum of 422,775 new shares will be issued. Thus, the number of shares in circulation will increase from 3,382,202 to a maximum of 3,804,977 shares. The issue price is CHF 99.09 net per new unit of the Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fonds. It was set in accordance with the fund contract (§ 17 number 3). The exact number of new shares to be issued will be fixed at the end of the subscription period, the release being scheduled for September 27, 2022.

The proceeds of the issue will be used within the framework of the investment policy to further expand the real estate portfolio as well as to develop existing real estate in a sustainable and targeted manner. The funds are used in particular for the development of the real estate Dohlenweg Zurich and Claridenstrasse Dietlikon as well as for the completion of the current new construction project, a care center with apartments for seniors in Zizers.

The units of Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fonds are not listed, off-exchange trading being handled by Raiffeisen Schweiz Genossenschaft, St. Gallen, as market maker.

The Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fonds is a sustainable Swiss real estate fund created in March 2014, which is open to the public. Throughout Switzerland, the fund invests in new construction projects, existing buildings and sustainable conversions. It holds the real estate in “direct land ownership”. The focus is on apartment buildings. Since its launch, the fund’s portfolio has been successfully expanded and currently consists of 28 properties.
