Sandvoort (Holland): Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won the Dutch Grand Prix Formula One Karota race. Local Verstappen is the winner for the second year in a row.
Verstappen started the race in pole position. Mercedes’ George Russell finished second and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc third. Verstappen finished 109 points ahead of second-placed Leclerc in the world championship. The Dutch driver has 310 points. Leclerc has 201 points.
Red Bull’s Mexican driver Sergio Perez also has 201 points. Former world champion Mercedes’ British driver Lewis Hamilton continued to excel in the race but finished in fourth place.
Red Bull’s own Mexican driver Sergio Perez was fifth while Alpin’s Fernando Alonso was sixth. There are seven more races left in the season.
