Austin (Texas) – Red Bull star Max Verstappen has secured pole position for the sprint race at the US Grand Prix in Austin. In the corresponding qualification on Friday (local time), the Dutchman was just 12 thousandths of a second faster than George Russell in the Mercedes; Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was third. The sprint decision will take place on Saturday from 8 p.m. CEST, and qualifying for the Grand Prix will then begin at midnight.
