Vetnia by Elanco Symposium: Advancing Veterinary Medicine and Professional Development

The Vetnia by Elanco symposium “Knowledge is the meeting point”, organized by Elanco Animal Health, will take place from November 22 to 23 in different locations in Madrid. During these days, conferences and workshops will be held around different areas of specialization in veterinary medicine: Antiparasitics, Osteoarthritis, Dermatology and internal medicine, and Feline Medicine.

The scientific conferences and practical workshops will be led by the following experts:

Pablo Gomez: DVM. Full Professor at the University of Zaragoza. Veterinarian at VetCorner Unavets, Zaragoza.

Alberto Montoya: Professor of Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). An expert in heartworms, he has directed the development of the Elanco heartworm prevalence map.

Diego Novoa: DVM. Specialist in Traumatology. Head of the Traumatology service at the Montjuic Veterinary Hospital, Barcelona.

Likewise, within the framework of the meeting, prizes will be awarded to the 10 best clinical cases in Spain in canine osteoarthritis, winners of the 2nd Edition of the “OA clinical case competition”.

The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of November 22 at a gala dinner. Each winner will receive registration to the VMX Congress, in Orlando, organized by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) from January 13 to 17, 2024, including travel and stay.
