The Netflix series Arcane was so successful at the end of 2021 that it was obvious that Jinx was not going to be the only one to point the tip of her nose in Fortnite. As a reminder, Jinx had already appeared as a skin in Epic Games’ flagship game at the same time as the release of the series on Netflix. And Riot Games is not done with its partnership, Vi is now in the game !
Vi prepared for the fight
Vi makes a sensational entrance by being already available in the shop of Fortnite Battle Royal on this Sunday, January 23, with his sister who is back in the shop. With it, several new items are possibly purchasable.
- A boxing emote, signature of the brawling character of Vi (which we can obviously use on any skin).
- A rabbit backpack, one of Jinx’s favorite stuffed animals that can be seen in the Arcane series.
- Jayce’s hammer as a new pickaxe.
It is also strange to see Jayce’s hammer coming with Vi. We could have hoped to see the latter join the roster in Fortnite, but then why bring the iconic Piltover Councilor Hammer with Vi? In all cases, all of these items are available in a bundle with the Best of Piltover Loading Screen for 1800 V-Bucks.
We still hope that Vi will not be the last to join Fortnite. For all fans of League of Legends, or simply from the Arcane series, we would also like to see Caitlyn or Jayce to name a few. As a reminder, Season 2 of Arcane is already in preparation!
