Víboras 5K Race 2023 at the Faculty of Medicine | UANL Faculty of Medicine
Last Sunday, October 29, 2023, more than 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students, professors, workers, managers, graduates and families of the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital “Dr. José Eleuterio González” from the UANL, lived an exciting morning in the traditional Carrera Víboras 5K, in its 2023 edition.

At 7:00 a.m., the participants, guests and even pets began to arrive at the Deportivo Medicina facilities to pick up their commemorative t-shirt and begin their warm-up guided by the Animation team. Prior to the start of the race, at 08:00 hours, the Dr. med. Oscar Vidal Gutiérrez, Director of the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital “Dr. José Eleuterio González”, as well as the Dr. med. Luis Adrián Rendón Pérez, Deputy Director of Undergraduate Studies of the Bachelor of Surgeon and Midwife, called to compete fairly and enjoy walking or jogging, as desired in a circuit of 5,000 or 2,500 meters on the Health Sciences Campus; The exit alarm finally sounded.

The first three competitors from the various categories who reached the finish line were awarded a trophy and a voucher redeemable at the bookstore, and also went up to the stage to position themselves in the standings. The event concluded by holding a raffle among the participants for more than 100 items such as coffee makers, televisions, soccer jerseys, backpacks, smart bracelets, registrations for the pulmonology congress, among others.
