We also visit Hanok accommodation facilities to check the status of tourist use, room occupancy rates, and trends in accommodation prices, as well as whether there are any gaps in service quality management such as hygiene management.
We will visit Jungang Market and Seongnam Market, which are representative traditional markets in Gangneung that are visited by a lot of tourists, including foreign visitors to Korea, to understand the trend of increasing tourists, and look at simple payment services such as mobile pay for shopping convenience and parking acceptance.
In particular, we plan to meet with officials of the market merchants’ association and ask them to actively participate in the ‘good price’ campaign, such as eradicating price gouging for food.
