The Elatra project, led by Rasamimanana Onjaniaina and Randolph Jilliana, was announced this week. The project focuses on supporting women who have been victims of violence to regain their place in society and in their field of work.
There are 100 women targeted by the project to be supported until the end of March. More than 400 other women will be affected until March 2024.
Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders (YALI MWF) 2019 Rasamimanana Onjaniaina and Randolph Jilliana. Selected for the exchange program, Reciprocal Exchange 2022, which is still part of the YALI MWF.
The Reciprocal Exchange is a platform where US entrepreneurs, industry experts and civil society leaders can collaborate with the YALI program throughout Africa.
The goal is to develop and coordinate joint projects for the benefit of the American and African communities.
