Victor Langellotti Clinches Second Summit Finish in Tour of Türkiye: Stage 6 Recap

2023-10-13 14:22:00

Second summit finish of the week on the Tour of Türkiye, with a 4.8 km bump at 7.8% which served as a justice of the peace for this 6th stage between Bodrum and Selcuk. And it’s Victor Langellotti who imposed himself in strong form, the runner of the Burgos-BH offering himself the second success of his professional career at the age of 28. The Monegasque was able to be patient and make his effort in the last few hundred meters, coming back like a bullet on Giulio Pellizzari (Green Project-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè), who started a little earlier but stalled in the final sprint. The 19-year-old Italian finally finished 3rd behind Alexey Lutsenko (Astana Qazaqstan Team), the wearer of the leader’s jersey having failed to overtake Langellotti The Kazakh, however, carried out a good operation for the final victory, pushing back his runner-up Ben Zwiehoff (BORA-hansgrohe) – 4th on the line – 26″ in the general classification. Note the Frenchman’s fine 5th place Alexis Guerin (Bingoal WB), which remains 8th overall.

Lutsenko remains leader of the general classification in Türkiye
