Demand for graphics cards fell to a 20-year low in the third quarter of 2022. This became known from the report of the analytical agency Jon Peddie Research, the data was published by the portal Tom’s Hardware.
Video card sales during the third quarter fell to their lowest level since 2005, according to the report. NVIDIA graphics card shipments are down 40% and AMD sales are down 74% compared to 2021.
It was previously known that NVIDIA Quarterly Revenue Down 72% on an annualized basis. These figures were significantly affected by the revenues of the gaming division. This segment managed to gain $1.5 billion, 51% less than in the same period last year, and 12% less than in the second quarter.
