The mayor of District 2, Radu Mihaiu, says that some drivers will be fined heavily if they block the efforts of the local administration to wash the streets.

“Unfortunately, some people don’t understand a good word. I notified each car, multiple times. We have notified the homeowners associations along the route. We drew a demarcation lane this morning,” says Radu Mihaiu, who publishes a video showing a car parked on the first lane and which thwarts the efforts of the teams cleaning Mihai Bravu boulevard.
“A lot of people understood and moved the cars, making room for curbside washing. Unfortunately, some drivers remained for whom the good word was not enough. I don’t particularly want this, but all those who prevented the washing of Mihai Bravu today will be heavily fined”, says Mihaiu.
“Let it be clear to everyone that we are not kidding, we are not giving up. We will do what is necessary to clean this sector”, says the mayor of Sector 2.
