Operatives of the Office for Drug Control emptied a dozen caches of illegal drugs in the Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg. The alleged pawnbrokers were detained, for one the visit of the security forces was probably especially unexpected.
According to the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, on May 31, 11 caches of drugs were found in the territory of the Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg. They, as the police are sure, were left for customers of a store on the dark web that traded substances for cryptocurrency.
More than 260 prepared packages with an assortment of addictive police seized during searches, along with electronic scales, laptops, phones and bank cards. In total, about five kilograms of drugs were found.
Three men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of attempted sale. Judging by the operational video published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, not all of them opened the door after the words: “Open, police.” They went to a particularly stubborn one, throwing the door aside. Another was visited by descending from the roof and diving through the window.
All four defendants have been arrested. The police are establishing the administrator of the online store and other persons involved in its creation. It is planned to be blocked.
