The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) is a criminal group that has a large presence in the country, according to AC Consultores records, it is the criminal organization that operates in 28 entities in the country, which makes it surpass its rivals from the Sinaloa Cartel, who operate in 24.

Some of the actions that criminal groups usually do are giving gifts to residents, without them being detained by the authorities, even if they are sometimes armed.

A recent case is that of computers that were allegedly given by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias El Mencho and identified as the leader of the CJNG. The computer equipment that was captured on video had a message addressed to students, but in addition to the brief text, an image appeared that had already been recorded previously.

“A detail from Papa Mencho,” can be read in a message that accompanied the recording that the computer equipment showed in what looks like a classroom. In the text that the screens displayed you can also see the emphasis on the criminal leader.

It is a recording that lasts only a few seconds but at least six computers appear in it and the same image appears on each of them.

Said material had already been recorded in other actions by alleged members of the criminal group, since in December 2019 there were other gifts, on that occasion it was an alleged Christmas gift since a toy gun can be seen.

The bag the material was in had an image very similar to the one that appears on recently revealed computer screens. It is the image of a rooster in which the legend El Señor de los Gallos appears above, the nickname by which Oseguera Cervantes is also known.

It was last December 17 that the delivery of not only toys but also groceries in Jalisco was documented. A man whose face cannot be seen is recorded handing over a bag with groceries, assuring that he is part of El Señor Mencho, to which a woman accepts it.

After delivering the groceries, the man approaches a truck in which he carries more bags. Just below the rooster the colors of the Mexican flag appear with the word Mencho. All of the above appears enclosed in a circle and with the legend “Merry Christmas” and with details of the festive season.

It should be remembered that on April 30, similar events were recorded, because in the context of the celebrations for Children’s Day, a convoy of alleged members of the CJNG would have given away toys on the borders between Zacatecas and Jalisco. On that occasion, a card appeared on top of a toy car that read “Happy Children’s Day, wishes you CJNG.”

Despite the fact that in images revealed by the Public Domain media a van loaded with several cardboard boxes could be seen and that in turn was transporting a structure with even more objects and that the vehicle was on public roads, the authorities did not show up. .

There is a record that criminal groups make these types of gifts to generate legitimacy among the residents of the areas where they have a presence. According to reports, the alleged hitmen toured ranches in Apulco (Zacatecas) and even reached the center of the entity.
