Tita Contreras, wife of Orlando Liñán, He shared sad news with his followers through the ‘questions and answers’ round on his Instagram account. There, she took the opportunity to resolve some concerns of Internet users regarding his health status, due to the biopolymers that he injected approximately 15 years ago.
The dynamic that he called “Only 10 questions about my tail and my surgery, shoot”, included topics about the dangerous substance and assured that it was treated by a renowned plastic surgeon in Barranquilla, since he pointed out that at the time the Invima did not no type of warning about the contraindications that the product could have on health.
“My tail was placed on me 15 years ago by a surgeon here in Barranquilla with a product called ‘Sicligel’ authorized by Invima, but turns out that product was biopolymers”, explained the influencer in her ‘InstaStories’.
In her story, she recalled that by 2015 a whole boom was generated around this type of substance to prevent women who wanted to increase the size of their buttocks from resorting to them, since the first cases of health effects on those who they had used the dangerous product.
“I got scared, I got checked, I get an MRI and indeed it turns out that what I have is biopolymers”said the influencer.
By 2019, he made the decision to go to another surgeon for check-ups, counting on such bad luck that the specialist’s response was “what is still, is left still”because he was not presenting any reaction.
