Video tutorial: how to install and configure a NAS

A NAS is a system comparable to a small computer comprising several hard disks or SSDs, which makes it possible to store different types of files (text document, video, photo, etc.), but sometimes also to host services such as a website, another video or audio streaming, an email server, or even a DNS server.

In our example, we are installing a server with four disk slots for large data storage and, above all, which makes it possible to create their redundancy to limit the loss of files in the event of a disk failure.

The advantage of a NAS is also to be able to host files without having to go through a third-party service provider. In terms of respect for privacy, there is no better.
