Vienna General Hospital restricts operations to emergencies – coronavirus

Vienna – Austria’s largest hospital, the Vienna General Hospital, has to limit its surgical program to emergencies and only “absolutely urgent cases”. The reason is “increasingly pandemic-related staff shortages in all professional groups,” quotes the “ZiB2” from a corresponding internal letter, the authenticity of which the hospital confirms.
