Villarreal falls to Alaves
Villarreal lost its host, Deportivo Alaves, with two goals to one, today, Saturday, in the 34th round of the Spanish Football League.
Alaves advanced early through Victor LaGuardia in the fourth minute of the match, and strengthened his lead with a second goal in the 32nd minute with a goal by Gonzalo Escalante.
Villarreal reduced the difference in the second half with a goal by Samuel Chukwueze in the 47th minute, but he did not manage to equalize, to lose for the tenth time this season.
Alaves raised his score with this victory to 28 points in 19th place, and Villarreal’s balance froze at 52 points in seventh place.
