Villarreal start strong in Valladolid

Promoted to La Liga, Valladolid quickly became disillusioned on the first day, at home, being crushed by Villarreal (0-3). The Senegalese Nicolas Jackson, post-trained at the club, opened the scoring following a service from Pino deflected by Moreno (49th). Coming off the bench, Alex Baena scored twice. First following a one-two with Chukwueze (81st) then on a clear shot (90th). In the first period, Moreno (38th) and Pino (40th) were dangerous for the semi-finalist of the last Champions League.
