Tuesday, in an email sent to the entire university community, Vincent Blondel assured that he might remain in his post until the end of his mandate as rector.
The legal and regulatory analysis allows him to continue his mandate while being a candidate in the regional elections. The academic authorities, however, want to ensure that there are no potential conflicts of interest in certain files. If necessary, such files would be delegated to other UCLouvain officials.
