Despite uncertain weather, around a hundred vintage cars and a few motorcycles were exhibited on the square in front of Vayrac town hall on Sunday March 3 on the occasion of the Domini-Cale. The numerous visitors were able to admire a Daf variomatic coupe from 1967, a Versailles from 1956 superb V8 engine alongside the Citroën C6 with its sumptuous luxury grille with thermostatic shutter, the oldest of the “grandmothers” of the day since dating from 1931 .

But this day was also very special for the members of Rétro Twin Vayrac 46 present in large numbers. Indeed, the inauguration of the “Ville d’accueil des vehicles d’vintage” plaques from the French Federation of Vintage Vehicles (FFVE) for the town of Vayrac made all their hopes come true and symbolized their common passion for vintage automobiles. “The FFVE plates symbolize our commitment to the preservation of our automotive heritage and our attachment to this historical heritage,” underlined President Marie Ducher, surrounded for the occasion by Loïc Lavergne-Azard, mayor of Vayrac, Bernard Faucher, regional delegate FFVE.

On the other hand, the five Golf Lotoises, leaving in a few days for a humanitarian rally in Morocco, were presented to the public by Jean-Marie Breuleux, honorary president of RTV46 and participant in this rally.

The aperitif offered at the end of the morning was a lovely moment of conviviality and sharing.
