In the context of violence once morest caregivers, the National Order of Nurses (ONI) publishes a sheet “Violence once morest nurses“.
This sheet provides :
– a definition of violence and its different forms (verbal, physical, sexual, once morest property);
– the conduct to be adopted in the event of aggression for salaried nurses but also self-employed nurses and in particular the procedure for interrupting care;
– the existence of a “violence referent” present and available within each departmental and interdepartmental council of the ONI;
– the procedure for filing a complaint (on the spot at the police station or at the gendarmerie, by mail to the Public Prosecutor or on the internet) and/or bringing a civil action (obtaining compensation for damages – damages). The violence referent can help the victim nurse in the process.
