During the night, the situation worsened as several people were injured during a fight which took place on Place Flagey. The brawl broke out around 6:30 a.m. this Saturday morning, involving 15 people, reports the Brussels-Ixelles police zone. Six people were injured and taken to hospital, one of them is life-threatening.
An investigation was opened to shed light on the origin of the fight. “This would probably concern the people who remained in the tent camp, but this remains to be confirmed,” Ilse Van de Keerse of the Brussels-Ixelles police zone told Het Nieuwsblad.
