At the time of writing, the situation is very tense at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar (UCAD). For a while, students and law enforcement have been clashing.
The gendarmes bombard the university grounds with tear gas canisters, facing students who retaliate with throwing stones. Traffic is also impacted on this very popular axis.
