Delhi: After the match against Lucknow Supergiants, there is no end to the uproar following the incident. Virat Kohli, Lucknow star Naveen Ul Haq and Lucknow mentor Gautam Gambhir were fined 100 percent of their match fee by the BCCI for misbehavior during the IPL match between Lucknow Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
According to reports, Kohli will have to pay a fine of Rs 1.07 crore, Gambhir Rs 25 lakh and Naveen Rs 1.8 lakh for violating the IPL rules. Now there are reports that Kohli has written a letter to the BCCI officials expressing his deep disappointment in this matter. Reports have surfaced that he had told Naveen-ul-Haq or Gambhir in the letter that he had not done anything to warrant such a fine.
Kohli also explained the events that happened after the match. Meanwhile, during the Lucknow Super Giants innings, Virat Kohli got into a verbal argument with Naveen who was batting and Amit Mishra who was at the crease with him. When Amit Mishra came in with Kohli, the umpire intervened to calm the scene. Later, when shaking hands with Naveen after the match, Kohli reacted angrily.
