Kohli has reportedly turned down an offer from the BCCI to announce his resignation as captain of the Indian Test team.
Virat Kohli’s resignation comes at a time when he is on the verge of a big win in the Tests. He is close to scoring 100 Tests in his career.
The third and final Test once morest South Africa was Kohli’s 99th Test.
With the Test once morest Sri Lanka set to take place in Bangalore next month, Kohli has won 100 matches. When the BCCI was informed of the resignation of the Test captaincy, it was reported that Kohli would be offered a chance to play a farewell Test in Bangalore. But Kohli did not change his firm decision. Kohli is reported to have responded that there is not going to be any difference with a match.
