The Criminal Court of First Instance of Quetzaltenango declared inadmissible the request for review of the measure raised by the defense of Virginia Laparra.

According to the Foundation Against Terrorism (FCT), “the crimes of those who abused the power illegally granted to them by Iván Velásquez will not go unpunished.”
The judge in charge, Carmen Acú, ruled without place the reform to the indictment with which Laparra’s defense intended to change the crime, so that the situation of the indicated remains the same, indicated the Public Ministry (MP).
