Vishwas Nagar Incident: Man Stabbed Over Extra Momo Chutney in Delhi

Vishwas Nagar ∙ The shop owner stabbed a person in the face who asked for more chammanti with momos. The incident took place near Bhikam Singh Colony in Vishwas Nagar. Kumar Sandeep (34), who was stabbed twice, is in the hospital.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Rohit Meena said that Vikas (23), who was selling momos on the roadside, was arrested. Vikas sells momos on a wheelbarrow in Bhikham Singh Colony area. Sandeep came to eat momos in the evening and asked for more chamanthi with it. Even though Vikas said that he has very little and that he should give it to others, Sandeep did not agree.

Both of them got into a verbal argument when they insisted on wanting more chammanti. Out of control, Vikas took a knife from the shop and stabbed him. The police said that he was later arrested following the incident.
