Vision Pro pre-orders would be great

In two weeks, Apple sold nearly 200,000 copies of the Vision Pro. Significant figures that neither Apple nor its subcontractors expected.

This Friday, Apple’s Vision Pro will arrive in the first houses that have managed to pre-order it. Despite fairly mixed initial reviews and fairly low stock forecasts, MacRumors tells us this Tuesday that, for Apple, the first results are encouraging, even good.

Thus, in just two weeks, more than 200,000 copies of the Vision Pro have been pre-ordered on the Apple Online Store and in physical stores. These figures are more than encouraging in view of previous forecasts which announced “only” 80,000 copies possible for the first pre-orders.

The problem, however, is that Apple and its subcontractors would have difficulty keeping up and meeting demand. If orders for individuals should indeed be honored, the problem should be in the Apple Stores, where demo stocks and those reserved for sale should be less than ten.

In addition, orders have slowed down enormously in recent weeks, so much so that shipping times, which had lengthened considerably in the first 48 hours of pre-orders, have returned to normal. A sign that demand is no longer as high as it was at the beginning.
