Boyfriend’s parents are very enthusiastic. Although the conditions were not good, my grandparents still prepared many dishes to entertain me. That day, some of his relatives came to see his future granddaughter-in-law. After eating, my boyfriend took me for a walk in the village, when it was 9:30 pm, many families had turned off the lights and went to bed early. My boyfriend told me to take a shower and sleep with his mother. Although we lived together as husband and wife, the custom in the village was still old, unmarried men and women could not sleep together, so I had to sleep with my future mother-in-law.
I went back to my room, my boyfriend’s mother was already lying on the bed, I asked her for a few hours and she didn’t answer, I thought she must be asleep. I carefully walked past her to get inside, covered myself with a blanket, and lay down. But when I accidentally touched her hand, I was shocked. Her hands were shaking and I was so scared that I called out. My boyfriend ran over to turn on the light and saw that my mother had a fever. Then the family took her to the emergency room.
Fortunately, she only had a cold and a high fever, so the doctor treated her for a few days and was discharged. I also asked my biological parents to stay for a few more days to take care of my future mother-in-law. Although it is somewhat difficult, this is also a memorable memory of the first time coming home to the lover’s house.
Before leaving, my future mother-in-law held my hand with tears in her eyes, she said thank you from the bottom of her heart. She also hopes the two get married soon to become real family. I find my lover’s parents very sincere. I think, even though my boyfriend’s family situation is not suitable for my family, I will be determined to marry him. I believe in a bright future when living with such sincere and honest people.
