Visiva Group Acquisition: Indecopi Concerns and Expansion Plans Revealed

Gestión contacted Douglas Franco, general manager of Visiva, to ask details about the possible transaction, but he chose not to comment on the matter.

How many offices does the Visiva Group have?

The Visiva Group has one Ucal campus, two Toulouse Lautrec campuses and eight Certus locations. The educational offer of the latter, unlike the first two centers, is mainly in business, finance and technology careers. In total, between the three study centers, the conglomerate has a total of 70,000 students.

In 2022, the group, then called Inversiones Educa, excluded and delisted its shares from the public registry of the stock market, which is why it stopped making the results of its business public. However, it is estimated that it generates close to US$100 million annually.

What plans did you have with Ucal and Toulouse Lautrec?

In the middle of last year, Douglas Franco, general manager of Visiva, said in an interview with Gestión that they would resume the project to develop a Toulouse Lautrec headquarters in North Lima. In the case of Ucal, there were also plans to expand to some district of Modern Lima.

He also commented that as part of its strategy, Visiva sought to address the corporate segment with training courses for collaborators.

He also said that this model, under the label Visiva for business, would be taken to countries such as Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia. The group’s investment plan for 2023 ranged between S / 10 million and S / 15 million, according to what he stated.

To remember. In 2018, Enfoca, which already had Certus in its portfolio, acquired 100% of Ucal and Toulouse Lautrec, both specialized in creative careers, from the Summa and Faro Capital funds.
