Voglauer to Kickl: New year, old empty inflammatory slogans

Using Hungary as a model, Kickl wants Austria’s economic and democratic decline.

Vienna (OTS) – “The FPÖ is once once more dealing with buckets of dirt and empty slogans that they shout into the arena. Herbert Kickl talks regarding his personal wanted lists, regarding Fortress Europe, his deportation fantasies that violate human rights, his otherworldly interpretation of what a real family is and his questionable view of the climate catastrophe. What is missing from this hateful speech: proposed solutions for the people in this country and concrete ideas for the future. We stand for intact nature, social cohesion and clean politics instead of blue self-enrichment. Herbert Kickl lashes out with a hammer of inflammatory slogans. Nothing more and nothing less,” says Olga Voglauer, Secretary General of the Green Party.

“Herbert Kickl is once once more chasing following Viktor Orban with his anti-democratic views. One thing is clear: Come Kickl, come Orbanistan, come decline. Let’s take a look at what’s going on in Hungary: economic decline, migration of young people and no freedom of expression. People who do not fit into the liberal worldview are silenced. That’s Kickl’s goal. This must be opposed resolutely. Herbert Kickl’s political views are extremely dangerous for democracy in this country. We Greens will continue to counteract this problem-feeding noise with solutions for an ecological, fair future,” adds Voglauer.
